SHIPPING
Shipping is designated by the customer when products are selected. Your order will be shipped the same day before 2pm Eastern Time or within 24 business hours. We are closed on weekends. We will send tracking number as soon as the order is entered. We try to provide fastest delivery and the cost (or will use your specified preference) minimizing shipping rates though volume discounts from our carrier. WARRANTY
The warranty on Mil3 crimping tools is specified on the insert included with each tool. Mil3 Inc. warrants the Crimpmaker will be free from failure caused by manufacture or design defect for 90 days past user’s proof of purchase date.
This limited warranty does not apply to 1) improper usage, normal wear, or mis-calibration; 2) abuse in handling, using, storing or maintaining the tool; 3) use of the tool in non-recommended applications; or, 4) unauthorized tampering or repair to the tool. A tool defective by manufacture or design can be replaced with a new tool of the same type or the money be refunded.The tool must be returned to Mil3 for testing and inspection to confirm the cause of the problem.
Our customers are encouraged to first reassess any problem with tool performance. For example, if there is a problem with a crimp, first test the crimped ring dimensions with our provided gauge or a caliper. If a ring is crimped squarely by our tool, and ring dimensions are within gauged ASTM specifications, then any problem with that crimp cannot have been caused by our tool. Look instead for a crooked crimp, improper crimped ring gauging (inc. possible bad gauge), a fitting out of dimensions or weak, PEX pipe out of dimensions, pipe not fitted well on fitting, etc. The best way to ensure quality crimps is to buy our crimp tools and buy certified fittings and pipe from a reputable plumbing supply house. If crimp dimensions are out-of-spec, recalibrate the tool, and replace the crimp with one that is in-spec. Do not re-crimp a bad ring. Mil3 is always available to help our customers with tool usage, repair advice, and crimping problems assessment.
RETURNS
You may return new, unopened items within 30 days of delivery less 10% handling. A tool may be returned under warranty. If testing and inspection at Mil3 confirm defect by manufacture or design before 90 days, the tools will be replaced or refunded in full with all shipping at Mil3 expense. If a tool problem does not fall under warranty, the tool can be returned by the customer who covers shipping. You should expect to receive your refund within approximately two weeks of giving your package to the return shipper, however, in many cases you should receive a refund sooner.
If you need to return an item, simply login to your account, view the order using the "Complete Orders" link under the My Account menu and click the Return Item(s) button. We'll notify you via e-mail of your refund once we've received and processed the returned item.
